We made some big steps forward last week in Zambia. We can officially say it: we’re building a secondary school!
As mentioned before we bought a former factory. This building is getting a whole new purpose as a fully equipped school, with everything students need: classrooms, a library, a science lab, a canteen… everything to provide good education.
But that’s not all. The local chief has generously donated land just across from the school. This will be used for sports fields and ten staff houses, built in two blocks. These homes will help support the teachers and school staff.
One of the highlights of our trip was signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government. This means they’re fully on board, committing to provide teachers and take care of the school’s interior setup. It’s a big step forward and a strong sign of shared commitment.
We’re incredibly excited about this next phase, and we look forward to turning plans into reality. Together, we’re building opportunities!
