Visit to Zambia, April 2026

In April, we visited Zambia to see our various projects on site. It was both wonderful and encouraging to witness firsthand how much progress is being made.

At the Kabbila School, we saw an enormous transformation. Where there was previously no access to water, water has now been installed, a truly life-changing step for the community. The construction of the first school block has been completed, and work is progressing well on the toilet facilities. In addition, the school is equipped with a solar power plant, making it fully self-sufficient in energy. It is wonderful to see that, as a result, many more children are now attending school.

Construction is also progressing well at Liberi High School. The twelve classrooms are nearly completed, and the canteen is taking shape. Construction of the toilet block will start in May. Furthermore, the 13 hectares of land opposite the school are being prepared for development, so that construction of ten staff houses can also start in May.

What touches us is the commitment shown on all sides: the government is actively cooperating, and the local community is also clearly contributing and taking ownership.

And then, of course, our own Liberi School. It is always a joy to be there. Construction continues here as well. The school has its own solar power plant and generates its own electricity, making it fully self-sufficient. The school is running well, the children enjoy coming to class, and the local team is truly outstanding. We are proud of our teachers and all staff members who make this possible every single day.

Together, we continue to build, step by step…
