The Liberi Foundation is renovating the old doctor’s post into a maternity clinic. The clinic will feature three connected rooms:
1. Delivery room
2. Shower room for after childbirth
3. Observation room for mother and child
With the realization of this maternity clinic, we aim to significantly improve care for pregnant women in the region. Proper medical support before, during, and after childbirth is essential for the health of both mother and child.
Prenatal care: regular check-ups, screenings, and monitoring of mother and baby.
Birthing care: safe guidance by skilled staff and well-equipped facilities.
Postnatal care: medical follow-up, breastfeeding support, and guidance during the recovery period.
The new gynecology department will provide a safe and specialized environment for pregnant women. This will increase the chances of a healthy birth and reduce maternal and infant mortality. In this way, women in Kamimbi and the surrounding area gain access to the care they deserve.
